3/22/09 - Not to be outdone by her talented, piano-playing cousin Lydia, Ella has gone in search of an instrament of her own. She has tried the piano, drums, guitar, rocks (yes, rocks), and even a pentatonic tuning pipe, but alas, nothing has really tripped her trigger.... That is, until today. Ella's instrament is the recorder. :) Perhaps later on she'll advance to the violin or piano, but for now she's content tooting her own little horn :)

The Great Outdoors with Nana
3/14/09 - Today Ella spent some good quality time with her Nana learning about windchimes, grass, rocks, sawdust, rocks, dirt, flowers, rocks.... and did I mention rocks? Her favorite of all the things she learned about was probably the rocks. For some reason she was completely in awe by them and I am pretty sure the next time I even think about buying her another toy, I'll just run outside and get her a few rocks to play with :)
